Underfloor heating pumps warm water via evenly spaced plastic pipes below the floor and this is an increasingly popular way of heating the UK’s homes and suits varied floor types and coverings.

At JK Plumbing & Heating we have extensive experience in all the different types of underfloor heating which can be installed throughout your home.

We cover the South East which includes all of East Sussex, Heathfield, Horam, Broad Oak, Cross in hand, Crowborough, Uckfield, Hailsham, Eastbourne, Lewes, Brighton, Seaford, Newhaven, Haywards Heath, Burgess Hill, Hastings & Battle. Kent Tunbridge Wells, Pembury, Sevenoaks, Ashford & Maidstone. West Sussex, Surrey & Mid / South London. This includes postcode areas TN, BN, RH and Inner & Outer London.

Where we install these systems, we use a high quality multi-layer pipe with an airtight aluminium layer.

Benefits

  • Typically, the yearly running costs of a properly designed underfloor heating system save you up to nearly a third less than standard radiator systems, mainly because low temperature water can be used.
  • Design Freedom – Make the most of each room in your home and enjoy more space without unsightly radiators and the associated safety hazards for young children.
  • Comfort – Enjoy a gentle, more even heat as the entire floor area is heated without the hot and cold spots often found on radiators.

We have listed the types below for each installation you might require. Give us a call or send us an email for a quote.

Solid underfloor system  – We use Polypipe underfloor heating panels, the unique lightweight floor panels are quick and easy to cut to size and lay. The Red Underfloor Panels then aid in system performance by acting as a guide for laying the ultra flexible underfloor pipe in the required spacings/intervals, and best practice spiral configuration. They also lift the underfloor pipe slightly off the insulation panels laid beneath, allowing the pipes to be fully enveloped by the screed. This in turn facilitates better heat penetration and retention of the floor slab once the system is up and running.
